Frogs on lily pads swap sides: green frogs go one way and red frogs the other, and each frog slides into the empty pad ahead or hops over one frog of the other colour into the empty pad beyond. Every challenge has a fewest-hops answer found by the program (with a green and b red frogs it is a times b plus a plus b). It practises noticing patterns, which is the heart of algebra.
