💿 Balloon Hovercraft

🔊Let's build a hovercraft that floats on air across the table!

• 🔥 Hot! A grown-up does this part.
• 👶 Small parts! Keep them away from little brothers and sisters.
• 🎈 A grown-up blows up the balloon, and picks up popped bits.

Gather first

• An old CD or DVD nobody needs (or a DVD)
• A pull-up cap from a sports water bottle (or the pull-up cap from a dish soap bottle)
• A balloon · 1 round balloon
• A small toy figure, or a pom-pom · 1, to ride
• 🔫 A low-temperature glue gun 👋 grown-up

The big idea: A cushion of air lifts the disc, so there is almost no rubbing to slow it down.
