• 🔋 Coin batteries are for grown-ups only. Never put one in your mouth.
• 🔋 Batteries only: never a wall plug
• 🔌 Never let the two battery wires touch

Gather first

• Paper · 1 sheet, folded in half
• 🖍️ Crayons or markers
• Copper tape (sticky) · about as long as your arm
• A small orange or yellow LED light · 1
• 🪙 A coin battery · 1, a 3-volt CR2032
• ✂️ Kid scissors
• 🩹 Tape

The big idea: A circuit is a loop: close it and the light glows, open it and it goes dark.
