Codecademy teaches programming through interactive lessons that run in the browser. Learners read short explanations and write real code in many programming languages, with instant checks. Paid plans add assessments, career paths, more AI credits and live bootcamps. It is built for adults and older teens; younger students reach it only through a school. A Codecademy Go app is on iOS.
Our take: A good next step for a motivated 16- or 17-year-old; younger kids need a coding tool built for them.
