Adventure Academy is an online multiplayer learning world for grades 3 to 8 from the makers of ABCmouse. Children make an avatar, explore zones and complete thousands of quests covering reading, math, science and social studies. Quests earn coins and experience points that buy avatar items, pets and new areas. Kids can meet other players, and parents choose full filtered chat, pre-set messages only, or no chat.

Our take: Good for kids who love online games and need a nudge toward school subjects; families wanting no social contact should set chat to off or choose a solo app.
