Blockly Games

By Neil Fraser (open source, built on Google's Blockly). Visit Blockly Games

Desk research from the maker's own pages. Not yet tried by us. Checked 2026-10-24.

A free series of eight short browser games that teach programming with blocks, then nudge kids toward real JavaScript. Puzzle teaches how blocks fit, Maze teaches loops and conditions, Bird and Turtle go deeper on logic and loops, Movie and Music cover math and functions, and Pond lets kids program a duck to battle others in blocks or JavaScript. No sign-up, and it can be downloaded to use offline.

Our take: A quick, free warm-up for kids about 8-14 before Scratch or Python; not a full course.

What we found

  • 0 third-party hosts and 0 cookies.
  • 0 ad frames and no links out.

From the test: Completely clean: no ads, no trackers, no cookies, and a clear path of coding games.
