College Board's testing app for the digital SAT, PSAT-related tests and digital AP Exams. Students install it on a laptop, iPad or school-managed Chromebook, sign in with their College Board account, and can take full practice tests in the same app they will use on test day. It includes the built-in testing tools and accommodations used on the real exam. Schools also use it with Test Day Toolkit for proctoring.
Our take: Every student taking the digital SAT, PSAT or AP Exams should practice in it; families should read the monitoring rules before installing it on a personal laptop.

| What its terms say about age | Not stated in the Bluebook policy or College Board's student legal terms; the terms say a parent or guardian acting for a student is also bound by them, and the privacy statement says College Board handles data about under-13s only to provide programs they request. | Price | Free. The app and its practice tests are free (Oct 2026); the real SAT, PSAT and AP exams it delivers have their own fees, often paid by schools. |

What's good
- Free full-length practice in the exact app used on test day
- Built-in tools and accommodations match the real exam
- Runs on Windows, Mac, iPad and school Chromebooks
Watch for
- Heavy monitoring: it logs clicks, mouse movement and running programs on the device
- International SAT on Windows can take temporary admin rights over a personal laptop
- Screenshots are banned inside the app
- Needs a College Board account; it does not teach, it only tests
Data and privacy
The Bluebook policy says the app records device details and every action in the test, including answers, clicks, mouse position and time on each page; for some international tests it may take screenshots, collect facial images and keystrokes with separate consent, or take temporary admin control of a Windows laptop. College Board says this data is not sold or licensed to third parties. Read the privacy policy.
Does it work?
No independent study found; the maker's own claim is that practicing in Bluebook helps students get used to the real digital test.
