Anime dress-up and story-making apps. Kids design chibi characters with hundreds of outfits and hairstyles, place them in scenes with backgrounds and speech bubbles, and make comic-style skits; mini-games earn gems to "gacha" (randomly draw) more items. Gacha Club adds turn-based battles. Both play offline. Lunime also makes Gacha Life 2. Many kids use the scenes to make videos they post elsewhere.
Our take: A creative toy for tweens if a parent watches what they post online; the dated privacy policy and age mismatch are reasons for caution with younger kids.
