Raz-Kids is a leveled reading library for grades K-5 from Learning A-Z. Teachers assign more than 800 digital books at each student's level; kids listen, read, record themselves reading aloud, and take quizzes to level up and earn rewards in a student portal. Teachers see activity, skill and time-on-task reports, and parents can follow along in a parent portal. Students can also read at home on the Kids A-Z mobile app.
Our take: Common and useful for leveled practice when a teacher assigns it; not a replacement for library books a child picks.

Data and privacy
Learning A-Z's June 2026 privacy policy says it follows COPPA and FERPA, collects student voice recordings from read-aloud and assessment features for teaching only, deletes them with the student record, and does not sell student data or use it for targeted ads. AI training is not stated. Read the privacy policy.
