Symbolab

By Learneo (also owner of QuillBot). Visit Symbolab

Desk research from the maker's own pages. Not yet tried by us. Checked 2026-10-24.

An AI math solver and calculator on the web and iPhone. A student types or photographs a problem in algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics and more and gets a solution with steps, plus graphs, practice problems, worksheets and cheat sheets. Free use shows basic steps; a Pro subscription unlocks fuller explanations and removes ads. There is also an AI chat for math questions and progress reports for practice.

Our take: Good for high schoolers and college students who want to see worked steps after trying a problem; younger kids and families worried about data use should skip it.
