AutoDraw
By Google Creative Lab. Visit AutoDraw
Desk research from the maker's own pages. Not yet tried by us. Checked 2026-10-24.
A free web drawing tool. You scribble a shape, and AutoDraw offers a row of clean clip-art drawings by artists that match what it thinks you meant; tap one to swap it in. You can add text, color and shapes, then download the picture. Kids use it for posters, cards and quick illustrations, and it is built into Book Creator. It uses the same guessing technology as Quick, Draw!
Our take: Handy for quick posters and class projects; skip it when the point is for kids to practice their own drawing.

| The AI in it | A model trained on Quick, Draw! doodles guesses what you are sketching and suggests matching artist drawings. |
What's good
- Free, no account, works on phones and laptops
- Helps kids who feel they cannot draw make tidy pictures
- Simple enough for early grades
Watch for
- Swaps a child's own drawing for someone else's art
- 2017 experiment with a limited set of drawings
- Says nothing specific about what happens to sketches
Data and privacy
No account and nothing to sign up for; covered by Google's general Privacy Policy. Not stated whether sketches are stored or used for training. Read the privacy policy.
Does it work?
The maker's own claims only (fast drawing for everyone). No independent studies found.
