Scribble Pals are tiny animal-shaped LCD doodle boards for small children. A 4-inch screen shows lines drawn with the stylus or a fingernail, and pressing the character's nose wipes it clean. A rubber clip attaches it to a backpack for car rides and waiting rooms. Boogie Board, now sold by puzzle maker Buffalo Games, also makes larger kids' boards such as Scribble n' Play and Magic Sketch.
Our take: A cheap, data-free doodle toy for preschoolers on the go; older kids will want a bigger board.
