Camp Snap is a screen-free digital camera made to feel like a disposable film camera. There is no display: kids point, shoot and see the photos later on a computer. The Camp Snap 2 has six built-in film-style filters, a near-instant shutter and a CampLock mode that locks the filter, date and memory card door so young kids cannot change settings. No app is needed. Parents can build custom filters on the maker's website.

Our take: A good no-screen camera for kids who should focus on taking pictures; families who want instant viewing or prints should look elsewhere.
