Desk research from the maker's own pages. Not yet tried by us. Checked 2026-10-24.

A lifestyle app for photo posts and short guides about fashion, beauty, food, travel, fitness and home. In the US it is now run by the same joint venture as TikTok and requires a TikTok account: posts can be cross-posted between Lemon8 and TikTok, and deleting the TikTok account ends Lemon8 access. The App Store rates it 13+. We found no Lemon8-specific parental controls or teen settings on its pages.

Our take: No reason for kids under 13; for teens it carries the same data terms as TikTok without TikTok's parent tools.
