The kitchen store runs live cooking classes. Online classes are taught in real time over Zoom: you get a prep packet and shopping list, cook along in your own kitchen for 1.5 to 2 hours, and can ask the chef questions. One booking covers the whole household, so a family can cook together. In October 2026 we found no online classes made just for kids; kids' and teens' classes are in-store, mostly a 5-day summer series, plus short family classes at some stores.
Our take: Good for a parent and older child cooking a real meal together with live help; families wanting a class built for young kids should look at in-store series or other providers.
| Ages it suits | most classes 14+ with a paying adult; kids' and teen in-store series for younger cooks |
|---|---|
| What its terms say about age | Website terms say the site is for users 18 or older. The class FAQ says most classes are for ages 14 and up, minors must come with a paying adult, some classes are 18+, and you cannot send a child to an adult class alone. (terms) |
| Price | Paid. Online classes from $39 per household on the class pages (the FAQ says $49) (Oct 2026). In-store classes from $89 a person; kids' and teen 5-day series from $299 a child. Full refund only if you cancel 48+ hours ahead. |
