A music lesson app for guitar, bass, piano, ukulele and singing from Yousician, which also makes the GuitarTuna tuner. Learners play a real instrument while the app listens and scores their accuracy and timing, game-style, along a lesson path built by music teachers, with thousands of songs. A family plan covers four accounts. It is aimed at teens and adults; younger children need a parent to set it up.
Our take: A fit for teens learning guitar or another instrument on their own; younger kids are outside its own privacy rules.
