Unite for Literacy

Desk research from the maker's own pages. Not yet tried by us. Checked 2026-10-24.

Unite for Literacy is a free online library of short picture books for young children, with narration in many languages. The short books suit very early readers and families who speak a language other than English at home. A child or parent picks a book, chooses a narration language, and reads or listens in the browser. No account or download is needed.

Our take: A safe free pick for toddlers, preschoolers and multilingual families; school-age readers will want a bigger library.
