Verizon's kids' smartwatch line with its own phone number on Verizon's network. Kids call and message parent-approved contacts with a keyboard or speech-to-text, press an SOS button, count steps and play simple math games. Parents use the Verizon Family app (GizmoHub on older setups) for real-time location, safe-zone alerts, School Mode and contact approval. Newer Gizmo watches add Gizmo Ask & Learn, a generative AI feature that answers math, science and history questions.
Our take: A reasonable kids' watch for Verizon customers; families on other carriers or wary of AI answers can choose a simpler watch.
