Ignite Reading is virtual one-to-one reading tutoring that districts buy for students who need help with foundational skills like phonics and decoding. Each child meets the same certified tutor over video for 15 minutes every school day, using a Science of Reading-aligned curriculum, with assessment and progress tracking done by the tutor. It focuses on early grades but also serves older students reading at a K-1 level.
Our take: A promising high-dose tutoring model for early readers; ask your school how recordings are stored.
