Toniebox 2 is a screen-free audio player for young children. A child places a Tonie character figure on the box to play its stories or songs, with kid-friendly controls they can use alone. Creative Tonies play audio that parents upload or record in the app. Toniebox 2 adds a sunrise alarm, Bluetooth headphone pairing and screen-free Tonieplay games with a controller. Tonies says it suits ages 1 to 12+.

Our take: A simple, sturdy audio player for toddlers and young kids; plan for the ongoing cost of figures.
